Oh I would love to hear her sing! How cool! My stepsister can sing like a bird, and I can't carry a tune!

You are so fortunate to be so close to her and get to hear her sing! I know you are so proud of her!

Maybe I can get her video on here somehow.

I can't sing either, Gayle. Does your granddaughter perform anywhere?

No, it's not my granddaughter - it's my step sister who can sing. She doesn't perform anywhere, unless you count weddings and funerals - she lives in a VERY small town and is often asked to sing (or play piano) at weddings and funerals.

The school has a Rock Band, and the teacher in charge is eying her to take over as the singer when Jillian, the rock singer now, graduates in June. She is only in 7th grade, but they could not believe her voice. It's a big commitment, but Jessie is thinking about it for Mackenzie. We'll see what happens.

Blues Clues Happy Birthday is very cool Gina! Does your daughter still sing?

Judy when she was in elementary school the music teacher wanted her to pursue in the performing arts, she wanted her to apply to Mark Twain JHS. My daughter is shy and didn't follow through.. She also did some modeling jobs and was in a movie for about two seconds.. lol She was in an ice skating rink with a few actors... She still has a beautiful voice but has followed the medical profession.

The field of entertainment is so hard to succeed in Gina! Jessie also has a beautiful voice, and sang and acted in school, for the Heights Players, the Regina Opera, etc. She realized early on though, that she wanted to have a family, and that being on stage would mean being on the road too much. She also realized that she didn't deal well with rejection. She went into managing actors and then became a talent agent. She also taught music for a while. She stayed on the sidelines, and now taught Mackenzie to sing.

You have to know who you are. I'm sure your daughter is much happier in medicine. It would be nice to sing though! I'm sure she appreciates her gift.
