I know it won't be the same but at least you can webcam with them.
I live close to my mum and dad now but whilst my hubby was in the army we were all over the place so now realize what they went through with us being away. My grandchildren are with me every day and I would just hate not to see them.

A webcam is a great idea!! Then Raelyn can see your face everyday!!! I can't imagine having my kids move so far away especially with my grandchildren. I'd be saving all my money too for visits!!! I can't imagine how hard it's going to be to say goodbye.

I can imagine that you are dreading the move, Betsi! Are they missionaries? The children will have an exciting life!
My cousin and his family moved to Belgium for work for a few years. My aunt was heartbroken, and also dreaded their move. In the end though, she flew over more often than she thought she would be able to, and it worked out very well. Of course, she was thrilled when they moved back to the states, but it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be at all.
