Merry Christmas everyone.... We too have had snow for about 5 days, it really looks lovely, unless you have to go out to work or shop etc, then it is not so nice!!!
I have just sat down myself after a hectic day, i have mentioned that i have 12 people coming for Christmas dinner tomorrow, i am reasonable organised though, so am quite pleased with myself. Today i cleaned the house, put the presents around the tree, set up the table, shopped a little, wrapped the last of the presents, took shopping to my Aunt & Uncle, called on in-laws, cooked my beef, turkey will be done tomorrow, peeled potatoes, carrots and turnips, made cauliflower cheese, stuffing, changed my bed linen, and baked some mince pies. Phewwwwwwwww - i did have help with some things though. So now i have a glass of wine, and am having some rest time, then will go to bed, ready for another hectic but hopefully lovely day.... WHEW! Diane, you made me tired!! It sounds like you really ARE ready for TWELVE (oh my!) tomorrow! Have a wonderful time!
 Diana - I know you are thrilled with the SNOW! It will delay our trip to Oklahoma, but that is OK, we were not going till Saturday and now it will probably be Sunday or Monday and that is OK! I'm glad you are getting your white Christmas!

It's 4:45 AM here and I can't sleep. Ricky just got up too...lol. I thought for sure we'd sleep a bit later this morning. It's been pouring down rain. We had snow on the ground and some ice. The yard looked like a white skating rink, but it's melted quite a bit from the overnight rain. I'm happy you have your White Christmas Diana...you have fun
I hope everyone can rest, relax and enjoy the time with your families. Merry Christmas...I love you all very much.

Merry Christmas everyone! We had a late night at my brother's last night, and the girls were so excited for Santa to come. Shaun had to go outside to sprinkle reindeer food on the lawn and sparkles so Santa could find the house. They wrote a letter for Santa to leave with his milk and cookies, and they told him they love him very much, and if it wasn't too much to ask, if he could give them hugs in their sleep
 So after they were sleeping I wrote the reply from Santa, thanking them very much for the reindeer food since they had all worked up an appetite Layla has opened her gifts here and we'll be heading to my brother's shortly to open the hundreds of gifts there! Everyone have a safe and happy Christmas! I'm so glad you got snow Diana, it really makes the day, doesn't it? JOYEUX NOEL!

We woke up this morning to snow everywhere!!! I'm not sure how much we got because the wind has been blowing and the snow has been drifting really bad. It's been pretty exciting for the kids since they haven't seen drifts this large for quite awhile!!
This evening now that things are slowing back down it's starting to snow again.....not much but just enought that it looks really pretty to look out the windows. Everyone was so busy with having Christmas and going to other places that they really didn't have time to play in the snow but I'm guessing that tomorrow they'll all be back with their sleds!!! It's been a good Christmas!!!

It's cool here, but was a sunny day. Very nice weather. The weather this week has been all over the board. Cold, rainy, warm, sunny, cool and sunny. Thank goodness it was warm and dry on the wedding day. It was overcast but at least it wasn't cold and messy. We were so worried since the weather has been so variable from day to day around here.
Wish we could see your snow for just a little bit. It must be so beautiful!!!!!
