Oops...I fell...again!

After I got home from the route I stepped over an x-pen I have set up to block the doggies. Well...I obviously didn't step high enough and ended up on the floor. Took the x-pen down with me and have some pretty decent gashes on my upper thigh. I just layed there for a bit, because I was in so much pain.

Ricky came running out of his room and was ready to help me get up off the floor. I think I'm going to have some serious bruising. It may be time to get rid of the fences and get those matts that just lay on the floor but will shock them a bit if they try to cross. This makes the 2nd or 3rd time I've fallen because of not lifting my leg high enough. Just wish they were a little cheaper.

I did finally get up and off we went to vote.

Keep your bruises very cold please. My goodness I'm glad there where no broken bones. I think you do need another method to keep your doggies from not passing.

Glad to hear you were able to go vote.

Oh Janet, I hope you are ok, and don't have any serious bruising or sorness tomorrow.
Also wish there was a better way of gateing off the dogs.

I'm glad that you're alright. I can't step over our gate very well and that's why it's just leaned up to the doorway. So far the dogs don't try very hard to get passed it so it works for us. Please be careful........we may have to have Ricky install handicap handles for you to hold on to to get over the gate!!!

Oh Janet, that could have been a disaster if you had broken something! Please do try to find another method to gate the doggies. Falls are very serious and can cause so many many problems, life long problems.

I'm so glad that you weren't more badly hurt - but you are gonna be plenty miserable in the morning.

Bless your heart! Better take plenty of Advil. The mats sound like a good idea, I hope you can get some.

I just saw this, and hope you are feeling a lot better! It is so scary to fall! You don't know what got hurt until you can get up and check.

Relax and recover!
