Thank you Gayle!!! I am going to forward him that information.
My mom had to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours after her mini stroke, and my dad had one for 48 hours after he passed out on the bus on a hockey trip for my brother when we were teenagers. I'm familiar with them! I think that's exactly what Scott needs.

Oh yeah, and as for his hand, it was his left hand so it doesn't really do anything all day lol... most of our work is using the mouse so he had just had his left arm resting on the arm of his chair and the numbness came up out of nowhere.

Well, Scott went to the doctor yesterday. He asked about having a heart monitor but the doctor just wants to have some bloodwork done first. Since I also need bloodwork done, we'll do that together in a few weeks. I know that this doctor will try to get to the bottom of his heart issue because he's always been so good with me!
As for his hand, it is STILL numb, and the doctor things it is a nerve that runs from his elbow, and he just needs to stop resting his arm on his desk the way that he does. I am much more relieved now and I think he is too. I'm glad he went.

It's good that you are getting it checked Linds! I have a lot of trouble with my neck, and I get all kinds of scary things going on in both arms and hands. When it first happened, I went to a cardiologist for an EKG. My heart was fine! I then went to a chiropractor who fixed me up. Now I go for a massage, especially around the neck, every so often.
It still scares me, but it really is nothing! I've been getting tingling when I raise my left arm lately. When it started in the right arm, I felt better because that's just my neck.

Scott's heart is still being the same as usual. I need to go for blood tests in the next few weeks so we're just going to go at the same time and hopefully he will be able to get an appointment the same day as mine in February for results. Then the doctor will decide if he wants to put him on a heart monitor too.
He did finally get feeling back in his hand too. He's been careful lately about how he is resting it and now it's back to normal.
