As usual, I'm a little confused
Is the person your oldest son with now Ryan's mother? You know Paula, there is not a thing in the world that we can do about our "grown" kids decisions! We can only love them and pray for them and hope everything turns out for the best. Congrats on your new granddaughter! What is her name? I know it must be awkward for you, especially since your younger son has a girlfriend she really likes. I hope they can work through it all. I'm sorry you are so stressed. It seems like when it rains, it pours! We are here for you!

Thanks Betsi and you are so right about us not being able to control their lives after they get older! And no...i didn't mean for you to think that my oldest son is now with Ryan's mom lol! My oldest son that was married to my 3 older grandkids Mom met a new woman that has a 3 yr old little girl, married the woman and is having a new son next month. I guess you understand now why I hadn't posted anything about any of this......

Oh and the new grand daughters name is Lucy Ann..I will post pix after I meet her Monday. I must say that even though the situation is not the best to say the least....I already love this special little girl. She is the innocent one in this mess. Say prayers for her...I've never met her Mom but I did talk with her on the phone today and she was very nice to me and was very open about letting me know that she would never keep Lucy away from me. Time will tell about that but I am just going to take one day at a time.

OMG Paula sounds like a soap.. lol but seriously like Betsi said we have no control over our grown kid decisions. I wish everything goes right for you they are all your grandkids and I hope the granddaughter you are meeting will become a part of your life. You are a wonderful grandma and I hope that your stress goes away soon. Post some pics of the little ones.. hugs to you Paula you will survive all this slowly but surely.

OMG! Paula! I suspected something was going on because you had not been on the board as much as usual. But I never thought it could be something like this! You know, I think when our kids do things that make us go, "huh???", it is even harder because there is nothing we can do about it. You just want to shake them and say "WAKE UP!", but of course you can't, so that makes it even more frustrating.
Everything will work out - maybe not like we'd like it - but life goes one and we just do the best we can. On the bright side, you have a precious new grandbaby and you are such a great grandma - that is one lucky little girl to have you as her grandma! It is encouraging that her mom says you can be a part of her life! Once she gets to know you, I feel certain she will keep her word! Life is just FULL of twists and turns, isn't it!

First off sweet Paula.....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! What a wonderful gift...a new granddaughter. I know it's easier said than done....but just enjoy your precious Lucy Ann and let the stress go to the wayside. You are such a great grandmother and Lucy Ann is one lucky little girl.
