khardy57, my daughter had been told she would likely not be able to concieve due to her years of ovarian cysts. She sees her 2 little ones as miracles.
I see them as the gold in my golden years. It's true that there's just no comparison to grandkids. You're free to love them, spoil them, and are free OF the tough job that parents have. My daughter in law has polycystic ovaries and went to a fertility specialist earlier this year. She had minor surgery to clean her ovaries up and the Dr. said there was no reason she couldn't get pregnant. My son was tested too.
