Oh no how sad. One of my friends lost her baby that way and I was so heartbroken. So I can only imagine the pain they must be going through. My deepest condolences to your family.

The funeral is on Saturday at 2:00......and my nephew is getting married on Saturday at 2:00!!! Talk about a mix of feelings!!! My Mom is kinda' upset that her sisters won't be there for the wedding.......she understands why they won't be but would like the family to be supporting my nephew as well. She asked me to make sure all of my kids were going.....but Feyn and Tammy have other things going on and may not make it.

I really feel bad that I'm not going to the funeral but I can't be in two places at once. I'm going to call today and talk to my Aunt or Cousin.

I heard from Mom that Rae Lynn wasn't home alone......Whew....her husband was there with her and he did CPR until he was exhausted. I guess when the police got there they made them all clear out of the house and did a search and checked the baby all over for abuse. Then late at night child services showed up and asked a lot of questions. I know that they have to check on these things but it seems kinda heartless. My Uncle said that everyone is doing as well as expected except for my cousin's wife and she was talking it pretty hard. I just can't imagine........well, I can in some ways because of what we went through with Dean. I would have been a basket case if he would have died after being run over.

We have another baby in our family that is extremely sick. I guess my Aunt and Uncle, Nancy and Charlie, had to leave before Levi's funeral because their grandson, Evan, is extremely sick. He's three months old and was a little over 5 lbs when he was born and has only gained a couple of pounds. I don't know why they've waited so long but I got a text message asking me to pray. Please remember this little guy in your prayers as well.

Oh Diana that's horrible. I will be sending them positive thoughts and energy for a quick recovery. That is so sad, I'm sorry your family is going through all of this. Many cyber hugs going your way too.

I know that I'm talking about my cousins and their children but we are a VERY close family even though we live in different states. And all of this affects the whole family.

I completely understand that you are talking about cousins, and I know your family is so close, so this must be very upsetting. I'm so sorry. i'm sure they were taking him to the doctor all along, so something must have changed. It sounds like a digestive disorder or failure to thrive. Hopefully, whatever it is can be corrected.
