New Job
Hey Girls,
I haven't been on in a while. So much to do and so little time. I had my interview for my new job this week. I start on January 2nd. Today I told my best friend about it. My new boss wanted me to wait until after she had interviewed everyone before I told my friends. I was very nervous to tell her because we work in the same office right next to each other and I didn't know how she would take it. She is a peach. I am so blessed that God brought her into my life. She told me that I sucked and a few other choice names but in the end she told me she was happy for me and that she would miss me. I'm only going down the hall to another office. She ended up e-mailing me that she would have done the same thing. And that we have todo what we have to do when we are given the chance to. She has been there for me this last year though all of my ups and all of my downs. She even drove 2 hours down to the funeral home when my mom passed away. And here I thought my life was over when we moved up here. Boy was I wrong. I was just starting a new chapter. Well thanks for reading.

new job here also!
i will be starting a new job the first of the year to. same place i work now but i will be going from driving a fork truck (loading & unloading trucks) to working in the enginerring department doing computer data . it will be a big change for me from being dirty work to office work. and it's a totally different world up there i'm use to being with the workers that have the foul language and cut up to people that are very straight laced so i will have to watch what i say and do. no more saying the F word lol. i am excited but also nervous about it but i have been bouncing around for 15 yrs on a fork truck and feel it's time to give my old body a rest .
good luck with your new position i hope it leads to bigger and better things for you. new year new job hopefully a sign of better things to come. |
