There were always a hit at Thanksgiving. It's my husband's grandmother's recipe. It's REALLY rich and I recommend big glass of milk with it!
![]() Buttermilk Pie Yields 2 pies 1/2 cup flour 3 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup buttermilk 6 eggs 1 cup butter 1 tsp vanilla Melt butter and mix with eggs, flour, sugar and salt. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into 2 pie crust. Place pie pans on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. (When top of pie has some fine cracks, it's done). Remove from oven and let set. |
