I hate it too. I don't think I have had one person in the public say Merry Christmas to me this year. It makes me sick to be quite honest. When my daughter was in Kindy they had a "havest" party. I made pumpkin suckers for everyone. They were just as cute as they could be. I had the pumpkin molds. They didn't have a scary face either. As a matter of fact it was a smiley face. There was one girl whose family didn't celebrate halloween. SO I had to make her just a plain oval orange sucker!! I just don't get it! I think it is really sad what this world has come too.
As a matter of fact it made me so mad that I refuse to donate to the Salvation Army this year! Sounds bad but I did my part this year. I bought gifts for 4 kids this year. One was a Salvation Army tree angel and the other 3 are kids who prob won't get much of anything this year. EVERYTIME I go by the workers ringing the bell they say Happy Holiday. Now if I go by one and they say Merry Christmas I will give some money.I will also tell them why! I know it sounds bad but that is how I feel. Here in my town they are trying not to offend all of the illegals walking around. I have already posted my feelings on that issue so I won't go there now! Sadly it doesn't even feel like Christmas this year. The stores seem to be slowly packing up the Christmas. It just feels really weird for some reason..
