Our taxes are pretty simple and Turbo Tax walks me right through it all...really easy. Now if we had a business, that would be a whole other ballgame, I think. An accountant would probably do a whole lot better. We only have the one rental house and Turbo Tax covers that too. For my son, I just use the EZ forms for him, because he gets everything back. Not being nosy, but do youngsters get much back for filing? Our accountant told my husband that our daughters don't make enought to worry about filing. They would only get a few dollars back, and the government does not care if you don't file if they owe you money, so he recommended just not bothering. I've wondered how much they need to make to pay in enought to make it worth while. We may need to ask the accountant again.
