So happy things are looking bright for him. Hopefully it will never happen again, but like you said, at least you know what the signs are. Be sure and tell him the ladies at 4WT have him in our prayers.

Yikes!
I'm glad he's on the mend now and hope he will get to come home today. If you'd like more info on what actually happened to cause this, there's a site I found that explains it in laymans terms. "Spontaneous Pneumothorax" is something we were trained to deal with in my EMT classes. How scary, and fast things can happen

Oh my! I am so glad he is getting better!
 I know how frightening it can be. My daughter had a collasped lung due to pneumonia. It was the scariest things I think I have had to deal with. I am glad you were with him. At least now you know what to do should it ever happen again. Take care HUGS

 Have my baby home and he is feeling a lot better, thankyou all for your support it is strange how being in contact with you guys sure helps. Tink thanks for looking that up. It has been a worrying week and I am now spoiling him to bits. He will have to take it easy for a while and I hope this never ocurs again. |
