Anyone else have ASTHMA?
I have asthma. I have had it since I was very young. I think it got alot worse when I was in college because all of my friends smoked, my roommate smoked (not inside, but outside on our porch with the door open), and every single bar we went to was all smokey bc people were allowed to smoke inside. I am never around anyone that smokes now, but my asthma is still bad from being exposed to all the cigarette smoke in college. It really really sux. I control it pretty well with meds (Advair & albuterol) but sometimes I get attacks and start coughing and really can't breath. Before college, I was able to control my asthma with a fast-acting inhaler (albuterol)...I never had to take meds on a daily basis. Since college, I have been put on an inhaled steroid (Advair) that I have to take twice a day every single day. I hate it.
Does anyone else have asthma? Anyone have any home remedies for asthma?

Sorry but we don't have asthma in our family. I wish that I knew of something that would help you.

I do. I also take Advair and it is the only thing that got it under control. I can't even count the amount of times I have almost died from it. I went through 2 years when I first developed it and had deadly attacks every day and was hospitalized many times. I know how you feel. Watch the aspirin and Ibuprofen. There is a connection with them and people that have asthma that could cause anaphylactic attacks. Caffeine helps if you are having a bad attack and cant get it under control with your rescue inhalers or nebulizer if yo have one.
