My son used to be in scouts and the leader wore shorts when it was 26 degrees and didn't mind at all. Bobby's troop leader was a woman from Vietnam. she slipped all the younger ones out and took them to her home. She got them warm fed them and then slipped back in about 5 AM. No one knew she had left. She was a jewel. She was tragically killed a few months later and Bobby would never go back to scouts.
