The Secret

Has anyone read "The Secret" or bought the DVD?
I've been hearing quite a bit about it, and today spent several hours with a friend who is really into it. Just curous what others think of it.

I have it in audiobook format. I started to listen to it a couple days ago, so I haven't gotten very far. It's interesting. I believe in positive thinking, and it seems to support this with the 'Law of attraction'.

If nothing else, it makes you examine how you approach and think about things. Worth the time to read. Or I watch the DVD.

I watched Oprah when the authors and others were discussing it. Sounds like something I really need, I hate to admit. But if it could help, what the heck. I love reading, but I would love to have it on tape and listen while I'm falling asleep.

I guess the only way to sum it up is the 'power of positive thinking. And how a positive attitude can bring more positive things to you. It really does sound interesting and some of the people in the audience agreed that it works. Takes some time, but looking for the good in everything.

If someone can explain it better....please...please do.

I have seen the Oprah show. Its not new to me, like i said in my other post. Its a way of life. It has nothing to do with religion or anything, its all about your way of thinking. Now i do know that, negitive attracks negitive, as positive will attrack the positive.

It sounds like a nice idea to me. I always think it's better focus on the positive. It's much easier said than done.

I would definatly never say its easy, but we have to remember that we are in control of the way we think, and what we chose to think.
Some days are easier then other days!!

Agreed. Sometimes you just don't feel like trying as hard as others...

I guess as long as you keep trying that's what matters most. If you are able to think positively most of the time, then I'm sure your life is overall much better than if you didn't try at all. Keep it up, girl!
