Song for the Day!!!

For some reason I'm a bit melancholy today. 2 yrs ago we lost a young man who was 19 yrs old and had been like a son to us. I just haven't gotten over it, and occasionally have days like this when it really hits me harder again.
His favorite song, "The Dance" was played at his funeral and every time since, when I hear it I think of Dustin.

So in his honor and because he's in my heart today, here's HIS song.

As I was telling Kat, Dustin would have HATED me getting all depressed over him. He was the type who could make me laugh no matter how low or ornery I was feeling.

Shortly after he passed, I fell asleep on the couch while home alone. I woke up to him bouncing on the edge of the sofa like a little kid squealing "Mommy! Mommy!" like he used to do to make me laugh. I know it had to have been a dream, but OMG it was so like him to have done that... I can't stay in this funk because I know he'd have never allowed it.

He was a fun loving devil make care person who I'm SO glad to have known and loved.
