Gosh, I'm sorry I haven't been on the

board lately. I've been working in the garden and cutting grass (6 acres). Tomorrow and Fri. we work at the Biggest Catfish Festival in the World in Paris, TN. My back's already killing me from lifting 40 lb. bags of top soil and potting soil. I imagine that stirring beans for 4 hours at the festival will not feel good!
I hope ya'll are doing well and will try to read as many posts as I can this morning.
Have a super wonderful day!

I LOVE catfish!!! I wish I was going to be there!! Jan, take some pictures okay? I love seeing what goes on in other areas. Try not to get yourself too sore so you can enjoy it all.

I've never heard of that festival! It sounds interesting! I love fried catfish too!!! Take a couple of Tylenol before you go and it will help with the soreness. Pictures would be nice.

Yummy - we had fried catfish, boudain balls, and crab cakes for Sunday lunch, so I had a catfish poboy for lunch on Monday, and we're having blackened catfish for supper tonight. Did I mention that I love seafood?!

Enjoy the festival and take it easy on your back.

I've been MIA also. I joined and then disappeared! I've been sick and even when I feel well I don't spend a lot of time on the computer. I have neuropathy very badly in my hands and it makes it hard to type. I signed on and it said 983 new posts wow! I guess I'll be busy reading for a while.

HaHa I am sore!! Bob is fishing and I am sitting - watching TV and doing NOTHING! I will take a camera this aft. They have catfish races at this thing. Unfortunately I'll be working there. Weather is suppose to be not good too and we'll be under a tent. The good thing is we get free catfish. Bob and a friend got 30 fish 2 days ago. Yesterday, Danny (a friend) had caught 10 before he even got his 6 poles in the water. Kentucky Lake is a wonderful place.

Good thought! Now, where did I put the Tylenol? Will take, thanks for the idea, Diana.

I'd like to come visit you! My favorite is Oyster Poboys. It's probably a good thing for us that Katrina took our house cause we would be fat by now. Most people don't know what boudain is. I was surprised to see that. Thought it was just in Louisiana.
I wish the gas prices weren't so high. Would love to go down to La and MS and get some good spicy food. A lot of our friends don't like spicy here. Actually, I only know one person who does. On our next cruise (assuming prices come down) we're taking our red pepper flakes with us.

Hi Terri,
My cousin has that. He takes neurotin for it. He use to fall down all the time but is better now. I think they've gotten control of his diabetes.
Yeah, I know what you mean about reading all the posts. It takes a long time but if I don't read them all, I sometimes don't know what everyone is talking about.
Hope to see more of your posts. Have a fun day.
