I just chopped my hair off a couple months ago. It was long and at 51, unflattering as heck. It's now cut about 2" long all over in a short shag. Considering I now color my hair to cover the gray, it's MUCH easier to work with short. I used to have really thick hair too, but with hypothyroid, it's gotten much thinner. It's stick straight and so fine it's hard to do ANYthing with.

What I would give to have my hair long again. When I had my DD my hair was below my waist. I was just so hard to take care of and I cut it all off up to my shoulders. Then the HORMONES kicked in. My hair got frizzy and somewhat curly in certain areas. I just got a new haircut and it is a tad bit shorter now. I plan on getting my hair straightened and then maybe I can start letting it grow again.

Short, I like it long but don't want to wait for it to grow long.
