Judy I read this before and felt it was just wonderful. Whether it's true or not, I think I'll keep it until next May, when my son graduates. Right now, God is allowed in our school, who knows what will happen between now and then, but you can bet I'll have this ready....just in case.

we'll around my area , they already took God out of the pledge of Allegiance to the flag.. it's so strange to hear my sisters kids say it, but my sister tought them the proper way to say it, but they just can't say it in the school..

I believe it is very confusing to our children, we take them to church on Sundays to try and teach them about God, but then the schools don't want you to talk about God.. It's a sad situation!

It's confusing to others too. This separation of church and state is nutso too. I have to go vote in a church...just doesn't make sense...I don't think they should be able to have it both ways.

I once heard someone say that this country was based on Freedom OF Religion, not Freedom FROM religion. I think the courts have gone overboard protecting the rights of people who do not have a belief in God.

The good old USA was built under the assumption of "One Nation Under God" and my true belief if the people that come here don't understand that they have"The Freedom to leave !"

I was curious about the history of this law, and found this article:

http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpag...55C0A9649C8B63 If I was ever asked to stand and say the Pledge, I think I would just say "under God." I wonder if Security would remove me? Would I get arrested? Well...you know what I would call them
