Oh my gosh I hate all those rides in your pictures! hehe I'm sort of a big chicken when it comes to rides though I think I'm getting too old too!

Okay so here are some pictures...
1. Kyle getting some air time. He's pretty good but he's been wakeboarding for a long time!
2. Kyle messed up his hair and posed with his best boy band look
3. I was thirsty in the water, so Kyle thought he should just pour it into my mouth.
4. Me and the wakeboard... we ended up not getting along so well
I wish I would have got some more pictures of our friend who is pretty amazing at wakeboarding, but it turns out I took mostly video of him and I'm far too lazy to upload videos tonight!

Pope.......I was never big ride person, but it looks like you had a great time. Really love the pictures..you and your fiance look nice together.

Lindsey..I do (or did) know how to waterski and it looks very similiar. When we would try to teach someone to ski, they couldn't get up either. They thought the boat pulled them up...it doesn't. Once you start on top of the water....just stand up.

That one thing that looked like a steel caged death trap (they kept callig it "the zipper", my SIL went on like 6 more times after we took off

lol water skiing is something I never had the chance to experience yet, great tip Janet
& ty for the compliment. We've always been like an old married couple, not like most people our ages. Except for the fact that we are a tad bit nuts

I am off to go schwimmin and down a few brews this afternoon

Here are a few Irish toasts I recently learned (I'll leave out the more explicit ones lol):
"Here's to a long life and a merry one,
A quick death and an easy one,
A pretty girl and a true one,
A cold bottle and another one."

"Here's to you and here's to me,
Friends may we always be!
But, if by chance we disagree,
Up yours! Here's to me!"

What they told me to do was lean back and keep the edge of the board out of the water, until there was enough speed for me to stand up. Easier said than done! The board is huge so there's a lot of resistance against the water. I started out with my arms by my sides and would end up with my hands rubbing against the board at my feet. My arms aren't strong enough to pull against that much weight! I just got up and my whole body is aching today! Oh well, I'm sure I will try it again sometime. Kyle told me it's just like snowboarding, but on water. Well, right now I'd rather be snowboarding At least there you just have to stand up and you're flying down a hill!

Pope, it looks like you really enjoyed the rides. My daughters love the Zipper and they will make them spin and spin. Don't ever ride with one of them!!!! I've never really liked the rides, even the farris wheel. My stomach just can't handle them.

Lindsey, it looks like you had a great time at the lake! My family likes to ski and I did too when I was younger. My kids all ski. My son even skied barefoot one time!!! I was impressed! The other day it flooded and my son had his jet ski out and the family was skiing behind it in the field next to his house!!! That's a sight to see!

Went to the movies to watch "Get Smart" tonight, Dug it. It's nice to do every once in a while.
I don't know how parents of tweens+ can afford to treat their kids very often these days! I feel for them.
