I've only gotten one ticket ever and it really upset me. I hate being in trouble whether it's at school, at work, on the road, etc. It just really gets to me. I cried for quite a while after I got the ticket. Poor Marty didn't know what had gotten into his crazy mama. The officer thought he was cute, but still gave me the ticket.

I also have a lead foot. But I also have a brother and anephew that are cops, so I'm always able to talk my way out of tickets. (knock on wood) I have a real problem with the way the system works. If you are rich and can just pay off a ticket then you cn speed. For someone like me, who having to pay a $100 ticket would be the difference between putting food on the table, it's just not right. There should be a different system so that it's fair. Yeah, I know, if you can't afford the ticket then don't speed. But that's my point, people who CAN afford the ticket can just ignore the speed limit.
I dont' know about Indiana, but in NJ you can go to court and "plead down" a ticket. It costs the same amount of money but you don't get the points.
