New Roll Recipe
I found this recipe on line yesterday and made them for Thursday. They turned out to be the best ones I've ever made.
Crescent Rolls 1/2 c Milk 1/2 stick Butter 1/3 c Sugar 1/2 tsp Salt 1 pkg Yeast

The rest of the story,
1/2 c warm water 1 egg 3 1/2 c All Purpose Flour 1. Warm milk till bubbles around edge remove from heat. Mix butter, sugar and salt. Let cool to luke warm. 2. Small bowl dissolve yeast in warm water let stand for 10 min. 3. Large bowl combine milk and yeast mixture and mix with blender till dough pulls together. Turn out on floured surface. Knead for 8 minutes. Lightly oil lg bowl. I used butter. Burn once to coat. Let rise in warm place 1 hr. Punch down divide into 2 pieces let rest 10 min. Roll out into circle. Cut into pie pieces roll from large end to small end place on baking sheet. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.

Thank you, Cecil. I'll have to try these for sure. I'm saving all the recipes I think we'll want to try from here to Word documents and putting them in a recipe file so they won't be lost. I'm really into making breads right now, so this one is very interesting!!!

That sounds wonderful Linda, but a lot of work. If I'm going to punch something around here it sure isn't going to be dough.....LOLOL.
I am saving it though so when I feel the mood to bake...I'll have this.

When I make bread I start it in the bread machine then take it out and fix it the way I want it and bake it in the oven then I don't have to worry about kneading and all that stuff. It's always worked well for me.
