Thankyou both the crate he has is large so may be they could do with a smaller one, makes sence. Will pass advice on to them.

When I had my yorke I think he may be messed in the house twice, but then is was summer and he was able to get into the garden with the door always open, and when winter came learnt to use the cat flap which our cat to this day never used.

I wouldn't buy a new crate. Just add some boxes or something to fill the space up. That's what I did.

Also when he comes right back in & pees in front of them. Have them clap their hands to startle him & say no or something. This will stop his peeing then pick him up & carry him outside & wait for him to finish there. When he does praise him.
