New pix
I have been shopping up a storm the past few days! I guess I want to be finished with the big stuff. Also, my SIL is coming over next week to do some work, so I would like to have most of what needs doing here.
My house is very messy! This is my bedroom with the new purple velvet bedskirt and pillows. The bedskirt is creased. I'm hoping it will hang out straight. The comforter is not staying, but it is the colors I want to use. The red thing hanging on the window is not staying, as lovely as it is. The aqua vase with the flowers on the dresser are some of the colors I want. Any ideas for a comforter color? The other picture is part of the den which is waiting for the futon, pictures, and curtains.

The yelllow curtains in the middle just came from Penneys. I had to order 3 more and I'm going to hang them. Now I want a yellow toile, red toile, or yellow and red toile valance.
There is my kitchen with the dark rust wall. And, here is my messy living room (oops - poop and all!) Look at the view of the falling snow outside of the sliding doors. It is so beautiful.

Everything is coming together nicely Judy. If you throw the bedskirt in the dryer for a few minutes, the creases should come out fine. Sorry I can't help you with the comforter...I'm just not good at matching things very well. I do like that yellow sheer in the kitchen. And what lovely poo. You crack me up!!!

I love the colors in your house!!! But like Janet, I'm a decorating dunce. I know when it looks pretty, but if it happens in my house, it's most likely happened due to chance or accident, rather than sound decorating planning!

I love the yellow in your kitchen! I've always wanted a kitchen that color. It's just so uplifting!
I think Max tried to sneak in on your first pic. lol

I love your colors!!! I'm just not that bold with color but I just love it when others use it. You're at the fun part where you're actually putting it together. I love doing that!! You asked about a comforter set and, while this doesn't match your vase and flowers, it would look really nice with your walls. My daughter got this at her shower last week and it's absolutely beautiful!!
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4982251 I know that it's not the colors that you were wanting.

Judy, do watch "Sell this House" ? They are using a lot of the colors that you have chosen.
