Wink Hello

Hi Everybody - It's wonderful to see a new forum. I am Rivermom AKA Schatzie from YT.

I don't have the time I to spend on YT as I used to, but hopefully I will be able to check into this new forum from time to time. (and of course YT too)

It seems that most women are so very busy anymore taking care of so many others needs. It's almost impossible to find time for yourself. What do you all do special for yourselves?

Is your fun shopping, cooking, or outdoor activites? I enjoy the private river behind our home. I always say "I can solve the worlds problems" there. I either ride my horse Teenah there, walk, or drive the 4-wheeler. No matter what though I MUST have "my time". If I don't then it seems everybody else suffers.

I look forward to talking to many of you again!

Always busy as most women are, but I do enjoy the time my hubby and son are camping with the Boy Scouts. It gives me time to take care of ME. I do love being near a creek or river although it has been some time since I've been. My favorite past time use to be fishing...I could solve all the worlds problems sitting there. So peaceful. I doubt it will ever happen, but one day I do hope to have a river or creek running through our property. Love where we are, but the tranquility of water and trees.....

Welcome aboard and so glad you found us I too look forward to getting to know everyone here. I'm the same over at YT - but you can call me Suzi I certainly understand about busy!!! With 2 active teenagers, full time job, and too horribly rotten yorkies (and I mean that in the BEST sense - they are spoiled because I chose to spoil them), I barely have any "Me Time". We belong to a deer camp 35 miles north of where we live and have a 2 bedroom house trailer up there. I'm not into hunting (not my idea of fun, getting up at 4:30 in the morning to go sit as still as can be, making no sound, waiting for a deer to come out!! - I'd rather sleep in!) but I do enjoy going - no phones, no traffic - very peaceful. While the guys are out hunting, I'm either reading a book or watching movies so I get some "me time" then.
