I'm glad to hear that things are going well for Ricky. I'm sure that he was excited about the tools. I wonder why he wasn't excited about the books?...Hmmmm......Ricky will probably be fine in the wintertime. Dae Lynn drove 30 miles to a local college and didn't have any problems. I was like you in that I didn't like her driving in the winter.

I think that's a great choice, Janet. I think he will have lots of job possibilities - as I understand it, diesel mechanics is a very specialized field and not a lot of people can do it!

Hey Janet, I was just catching up on some of the posts I missed and saw this. I have been wondering about Ricky, too. I'm glad he likes school and most importantly likes what he's studying and learning. Wouldn't it be nice if they could just stay home and be our little boys forever?

Janet, so glad to hear that he's doing so well. That should be a good field as Gayle said. Sounds like you've raised a very responsible son!!
