Thanks for the pictures. I enjoy taking pictures, too, but haven't been doing to much lately. It seems I wait for the kids to share theirs with me.
Keep 'em coming.

Looks like you had a fun, busy weekend! If we lived in Austin Mike would drag me to sporting events all of the time, lol! Gary cracks me up

The first snake looks so real. I was wondering how Gary manages to keep these critters from running off. Duh
![]() ![]() ![]() Your gardens are wonderful. It's good that you know what to plant for next year. I just took in my first plant for the winter. We are getting pretty cold nights already. I took in my jasmine plant, which I mail ordered. I don't know if it will bloom at all up here, since it's really a tropical plant. Maybe I should ship it down to you! I think I'll just let my others live as long as they can, and then bring in the planters for winter storage. You are so lucky in that you can have all year round gardens.

Your little critters are cute! The first snake looked pretty real to me and the horney toad!! We used to catch them when I was a kid but you don't hardly see them any more.
I would have loved to see the volleyball game!!! It's one thing that we like to watch when the Olympic are on. I think that it's because we used to play recreational volleyball years ago. The chuck wagon sounded interesting. It would be so hard to cook like they did back then!! Your little garden has done so good this summer!! I'm surprised that you can plant tomatoes again, but you do have a longer growing season than we do. It's so funny how all of that works!! I always enjoy your pictures, Gayle. I have a lot of pictures to share. They're on my computer now so I'll have to start getting some on here!!

Thanks all!
The chuck wagons were so neat. I wish it hadn't been raining, I would have loved to have eaten the chuck wagon dinners!! I wouldn't want to cook that way either - I'm too spoiled. I forgot to mention that most of the participants were dressed the part too, it was neat to see the clothes, wagons, and cooking set ups! Yes, we are lucky to have two growing seasons. We have to plant in early March to get things harvested before the dastardly hot July/Aug. Then we can plant things in Aug (if they can survive the heat) to be harvested in Oct/Nov. It is fun to have so much variety.
