I think men are still little boys in big bodies, spoiled by mommy, and expect the same from the wife after they married.

It is hard at times, even worse when you don't feel well at all. Don't worry about the messes (other than Whiskey and his waxey cheesy face) and lie there and get some rest. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm so sorry you are sick! Yeah, it does seem that when men are sick they can't do "jack crap" around the house because..."O, my throat hurts", or my head hurts, or I feel like crap! So they lay in the recliner, on the couch, or in the bed while you continue to do all the housework and stuff. My hubby is no different but...I do have to admit that when I'm sick, he takes care of our furbabies and skin kids as well as cooks and cleans the kitchen - at least for the first day or two when I feel REALLY crappy! But once I start moving around a bit more, it's like the batteries in his alter ego die and he doesn't do stuff, waits for me to do it.

Why are men like that? Sometimes mine will be so helpful when I'm sick, but most times NOT!!! He was so great when I had my hysterectomy, couldn't ask for better, but then again we were worried for so long that it might have been cancer.

Now if I just have a cold or flu, about the most I get is "how ya feel'n now?", unless I ask can you fold the clothes in the dryer or can you empty the dishwasher. They act like they have an on/off switch on the inside....sure wish it was on the outside.....LOL

I'm so sorry you feel so bad! What a way to spend a day. I wouldn't worry about the house either. It'll be there when you're better or decide to blow it up, whichever comes first! I'd only worry about furbaby. Big baby would have to fend for himself!

If you are that sick you really need to be resting instead of cleaning or worrying. I'm sorry your hubby is being such a pain in the a$$. Hope you feel better soon. Take some tylenol and drink lots of fluids!

Also...you can do what I do....I tell them put whatever they get out back where it belongs...If I have to pick it up...it goes in the trash, no exceptions!!!

I've never had to throw anything out yet...well, I did throw some stuff out the back door that belonged in his garage...but so far that's it!
