There sure don't make cartoons like they use to, that's for sure. These now are so high tech, I just don't enjoy them or listening to them.
We also use to have the serial shows on Saturday morning like Rin Tin Tin, Sky King, Fury, My Friend Flicka, Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. Now those were good shows. I also enjoyed Lassie, but that was either on Sat. or Sun. night.

Janet, I remember the saturday morning series you mentioned. I loved Rin Tin Tin, Fury, and Flicka! Lassie was Sunday nights at 6
My kids have watched some of the others listed by younger members, but the newer ones I have seen with my GRANDdaughter. LOL

Oh yes! Mr Ed, Archie, and Dennis the Menace... lol
For those who think TV has gotten too violent though, I will admit to watching COMBAT every week with my Dad. We also watched boxing. This was back in the day when Mayberry RFD, I Love Lucy and The Honeymooners were top rated shows. I wish Dean Martin was still on... in spite of him smoking and drinking during his show, it was still considered family viewing. Oh MAN how times have changed!

There really are not too many good shows on now like there were back then. That's why there are only a few that I watch. I still like mostly comedies. I love to laugh.
Remember how funny Red Skelton's show was. He was hilarious. I use to love the Hollywood Palace. Remember that one? It had different celebrities on singing, dancing...etc., showing their talent. You're going to make fun of me now, but remember when the Beatles first came to America and were on the Ed Sullivan Show? They were on for like 3 or 4 Sundays in a row. When it was their last show, I cried. Can you believe it? LMAO!!!!!!!
