We're home again today. I think I'm about to lose my mind!!! I want spring so bad I can't stand it. Not sure if we'll have school tomorrow, I'll just have to wait and see. I'm sure if we do, it will be a two hour delay. So I'll take advantage of today and give all the babies their bath. That way if I can get out, I'll have a weekend of no responsibilities.

Janet enjoy your days off, the main roads by me are cleared they say, but the side streets are icy, I am awaiting a contract that I have to fax to the attys. So I may have to go out later, Good idea about giving the babies their baths, I gave Gucci a bath earlier.

I wish I could trade with you Janet! I'd love a good excuse to stay home for a couple of days. LOL

Looks like we're going this morning. Can't believe we are the only county school going. Frankfort schools are, but most of them are in town with better roads. AND the temp is -9 degrees with a -20 degree windchill. Just what county kids need to stand out in waiting for a bus. Sometimes I wish our superintendant was a woman, because sometimes this man has no clue!
I mean, I'm glad to be going back really, but for crying out loud, even I know it's too dangerous for the kids and the buses. We still have some county roads down to one lane. I hope I don't meet anyone, because they are going to have to be the ones to get stuck...not me with a bus load of kids.

This is a lot of responsibility w/ you driving a bus filled with parent's loved kids Janet on less than desireable road conditions.
Wishing you a safe ride and that the snow melts quickly.

Roads were snow packed and narrow in some places, but we made it just fine. Not even a minute late! I'll be glad when it all melts!

Glad you had a safe drive. Do they put snow tire chains on school busses??
I had to postpone my horse training till today due to snow/icey roads. It's just not cool to pull a trailer on less than perfect road conditions. Especially with a horse back there in that trailer stepping around. Today is a little over 30 degree's so riding will be less than warm but atleast the roads are dry.
