Congrats on your first two grades Lissa. I'm sure the other four will be just as good!

Oh okay. I thought you were in grad school already. I'm sure you will have all A's in the fall though.

I hope so, but I don't think I'll do so good in my other classes...I'm kinda torn at the moment cause my school doesn't offer the fields I want to study, I'm looking to transfer to another school in the area, right now it's down to Austin Community or UT

If you are not happy with the majors your college offers, I would suggest that you speak with your current adviser about it as well as advisers from the other two colleges you are looking into. They usually have tons of helpful advice since they deal with this stuff on a day to day basis. I don't know what I'd do without my adviser!

So what fields are you interested in?

I hope my mum doesn't see that, she's been bugging me to talk to my advisors for a while

I'm interested in EMS and ER Nursing. I'm an adrenaline and medical junkie; I want to be a Paramedic and when I burn out be an ER or Trauma Nurse. My dad was recently in the ER and he had an amazing nurse, she was really friendly, and that's what I want to be eventually. I'm planning on talking to the advisors when I get back to school, and I know a family that is doing just what I want to do, the wife is a nurse at a local hospital in the emergency department if I remember correctly and her husband was a paramedic and is going to school to be a nurse, so I'm planning on setting up lunch with them sometime soon. Mum sounds a bit excited, everyone's been wondering what I would do with a Political Science degree. And as a Paramedic I could get part of my money back for the nursing school tuition because they value continued education.

That's awesome! It sounds like a very exciting future. Good luck with your transfer!

You will! You seem like such a smart woman. Six classes is a big load though. That's about 18 hours, right? Maybe if you only took 5 classes it would be a bit easier to manage and would be a lot less stressful.
