Janet,
A loss of one pound in a week on WW is actually a very nice loss. I know, I would love to lose 5 pounds in a week, but that isn't very healthy and it won't be fat loss, it will be mostly water. We really can lose only 1-2 pounds of fat per week. I'm one to talk though, I've been trying to lose the same 10 pounds all summer and look! - it's almost WINTER!!! I know it is discouraging, but WW will work, as will using the glycemic index - it's all in what is most comfortable/easiest for you. Gayle |

Read about slim in 6 first on the 3 fat chicks site and see what other women say it is. I have a feeling I looked into it before and decided against it.
I liked weight watchers years ago but I never managed to stay on it more than a couple of months and the weight came back slowly but surely. That's why I prefer the g. index as the weight has almost all stayed off - I had to stop all exercise last year for some PT work and so gained back about 5 pounds. Since I fell down the stairs last winter, I haven't been able to get back to walking so I am kind of limited for losing it again. But I have faith - no I HAVE FAITH!! It's going to happen soon, |
