I usually put my tree up the first or second week of Dec. As most of you its becoming a chore. I do love Christmas, my husband does help put it up, he puts the lights on also and I decorate it. My tree is 7 1/2 ft. I do the decorations throughout the house. This year I am comtemplating on whether I should put up my village scene. It is beautiful I also have Elvis Presley's graceland, I guess I am getting old. lol My kids do not help me. Once I get started I get into the mood.
Sheryl when you find a redneck send him down to the east coast, heck I will give him two six packs lol . Last edited by Gina; 11-25-2007 at 06:34 PM. |

I have to take mine down. I wrote about it on another thread. It's a tacky little fiber optic tree. All I have to do is plug it in and find the 2 angels that also have fiber optics.
I feel like it's a little too early for Christmas for me.

I'm thinking a pre-lit one would be a good idea too. I almost always end up doing the tree all by myself and stringing lights on a big tree is a PITA.
I might even be able to talk myself into an artificial tree this year just for that point alone. We usually have a real tree... big and bothersome as they are. Right now I'm in no mood to work that hard on one.
