Sheryl, you certainly have gotten off light this year! I would certainly get gifts for each other. I always tell my husband that if he can't think of anything to get me, diamonds are ALWAYS a good choice!!!!!

I shopped online for most of my Grandma gifts. I still have to go to the dreaded Toys R Us for a few more, I have to buy my SIL a gift, some little things for their dogs. Mine too. Then I have to put some money in envelopes for certain people, like my hair dresser. The toy shopping was actually fun this time.
I bought Jessie a handmade silver pendant with a lion's head on it. It says on it that it stands for courage, which I think she has really shown getting through her illness to this point. She never even sits down, never complains, and feels really good. She's learned the value of a positive attitude. I hope she likes it. I told her if she didn't, I would exchange it. If I had a man in my life, I'd definitely want a gift. Maybe next year....
