I haven't heard about the controversy surrounding them...
I will admit when I read it, I did chuckle for a second lol

People keep themselves busy worrying about ridiculous things. They have to feel they have control over EVERYTHING, what a way to waste life.

no, it's no more mainstream than it was. santa, tooth fairy, easter bunny are all magic too. ban them?
i think there is a lot of inconsistency in the rreligious right.
