Well I hope you didn't think I was kidding. I was watching the "Girls Next Door", Hugh Hefners girlfriends, and one of them had her dog tested and then signed up to do commercials. I thought it was so cool and then you posted about Layla. I'd defintely check into it...she's really pretty and photogenic. (is that how ya spell that?)

Aww thank you! I really wish there was more I could do around here. I actually looked into modeling MYSELF for awhile but there's pretty much no market... as soon as someone gets an ounce of creativity they move to Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal because that's where things happen and you can make a career out of it. I had one meeting with a photographer but then nothing came of it and then I decided to give up lol. Now maybe I should just try to push my dreams onto my dog, since I have no children to do that to

By the way, I LOVE the girls next door! I would just love to have their lifestyle, other than the naked photoshoots, and having to do gross things with a wrinkly old sex addict. But living in a mansion for free and getting to do cool stuff all the time would be great

I took some pictures of Layla yesterday after she got home from the groomer. There's a little less hair in her eyes now, and she's all smiles

Eek I'm getting so nervous waiting for the photographer to get here!!!! Layla has a pretty red bow in her hair and I'm trying to not let her get too messed up! She keeps scratching her head lol

Okay the photographer just left. He was really really nice and patient! And he loved Layla! He came into the house but there was nowhere to take pictures here with good light so we went into the back yard. She was so excited that a new person was here that she wouldn't sit still! And then she was running around so much that she was panting, so I had to give her water which made her face all wet. We couldn't get her to put her tongue back in her mouth! He found one where her mouth was open but her tongue was down... he really wanted a closed-mouth shot but he asked if that one would be good enough for me. We came inside and looked at ALL of the pictures and it was picture after picture of tongue! Anyways, he said "Well let's just try a few more" so we went outside and Layla was waiting for us behind the little baby gate between the house and the fence. He said "Oh maybe this is a good spot!" so he stood on one side and she lost interest and just laid down. I kept saying her name, and she closed her mouth and looked at me for about 10 seconds straight and he took a million shots and he said "I GOT IT! I got one right there!"

Then he told me that if I want a picture to just get in touch with the person who contacted me and they'd be happy to send me one

And now, 5 minutes later, Layla is asleep on the floor beside me. Ah the life of a superstar.
