Amber, all I can say is, you are definitely not afraid of color!!!!!!! You are a woman of great courage!!!

As I've said before, we need to live in an environment with colors that we like that make us feel good!!

OK..here's some of mine...

Hi Janet,

Here's mine (I did some cleaning this week, so I can do this tee hee!)

1. My entry
2. Living Room
3. Dining Room--all three of these rooms and the adjoining hall have a faux wainscotting that I did myself. I upholstered the dining room chairs and made the table runner to match the two chairs in the living room.
4. Kitchen--after the remodel. We had tile before, now we have the granite.

Oh Wow...You have a very nice place...I really love the kitchen. I still need to do some things around here, but with hubby's impending back surgery, I have to wait...even for the painting.

Your home is really lovely, Misty!! Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I haven't forgotten about this post. I just haven't gotten around to taking the pictures yet. Right now things are not very organized or clean!!!

Thanks! The other half will have to wait for pictures until I finish cleaning it, LOL!

Every few months, I get a wild hair and do something to it. The next project will probably be our downstairs powder room. I've always wanted to put in beadboard paneling in there, and we need a new pedestal sink. Maybe I'll take that one on sometime soon. The only thing left to do in the house after that is the laundry room. But I don't know what to do with that yet.

1. Here's the front of my house
2. 3., and 4. Are my backyard...I just now snapped these; notice Chloe followed me out and is in the last picture...

Wow, your homes are really close together!!! Where I live the houses have quite a bit of room between them and I live in the country and have lots of room around me, actually my closest neighbor (my daughter and her family) lives about 1/4 mile away!

Your swimming pool looks really nice and inviting. I've always wished that I had a pool but we have too many trees around us to be able to keep one clean. I love the water and swimming!!!

Yes, that is Southern California tract home living. We are actually lucky that on one side with have more room. This is actually a decent sized lot for homes these days. In the newer homes, they have them about 2000 sft smaller!

I think when my husband retires, we'll sell this house and move out of state. I'd like to move somewhere where I have lots of trees, shade, and cooler weather, plus where our neighbors aren't right on top of us...a less expensive home would be nice too, LOL! I'm lucky that the people living around us are pretty quiet.
