I do enjoy keeping up with most folks on there though. Even if it is just a tidbit of their life. And Farmville is fun. I don't care for the graphics on Farmtown, but am addicted to Farmville. I've resisted all the other games. FB is blocked here at work, so I must harvest at night. LOL

I agree with this Marilyn. I have most of the people I grew up with on my facebook. Most of them I don't talk to at all, some of them I never really talked to back then either! But I really like being able to see what everyone has been up to lately... so many are married and have children! I love seeing their kids and how much they look like their parents did when we were all kids! If it weren't for facebook, I would probably have lost touch with 90% of the people I used to know.

It's my quick way to checkup on you guys. I usually check FB (on my IPhone) while I'm outside with the doggies every morning. Then, I check 4WT when I get to work or get time on weekends.
I have one that posts "It's Monday, a new day!", "I'm running errands.", "I'm going out to eat." She rarely posts on other threads and others rarely post on hers. It's almost like she uses FB to keep track of herself and YES, the world is supposed to revolve around her. I was so excited that a high school friend found me last week. We traded a couple quick notes and that's it - 40 years rolled up in a couple sentences.

Yes this CITY GIRL is addicted to Farmville.. Diana how exciting it is to work on a farm lol. I am not great at it, I am just getting the gist of it . I don't know what I am doing, but I am learning. I am a little confused maybe you can tell me Sandy, Marilyn since you play I see there is a tab where it sells to buy cash. I clicked on thinking it was a ploy but do people really charge on their credit cards to buy Cash.. That I would never do!!!

Also you need lots of neighbors. Right now, I can't expand my farm because I only have 11 neighbors, and I need 13 to be able to buy more land with coins. I can buy more land with FV dollars, but I don't have enough yet. I've invited everyone I can think of to be my neighbor, but have received no responses beyond my current 11. I just keep planting and farming and harvesting as much as possible, including my trees and animals and hoarding the coins and FV dollars so I can expand and buy the things for my farm. By the way, gifts are much appreciated and I try to give more than I get. Another way to get more coins is to visit your neighbors farms, and if they have crows or weeds, help them out. When someone gets a ribbon, and you see it on your home page, there is a link on the notice to share the prize, and if you click that, you can get coins. Gina, I hope this helps you some, and I hope I haven't told you a lot of stuff you already new. To me, it's a fun game, though addictive. I'm advancing pretty quickly and enjoying the challenge. I just wish I knew what the harvest will be from the elephants. It had better not be ivory!!!

Clicking "hide" is what I did to my cousin. So far, he's the only one I've done this too. It sure made FB more fun when he was gone. I'm going to start skipping some of the FV notices. I'm afraid by posting them they may be showing up on some of your home pages, and sure don't want to post so much on there that some of you "hide" me to get the notices off your page.

I play the other games and the notices end up on the walls. I stopped posting those and hit the skip button. Once you hide someone...how do you get them back? I've got a couple hid but wanted to bring them back for a bit, but don't know how.
You all really have it bad for Farmville, but at least you're having fun.

Diana, just move your cursor to the right of the post where there is only white space - suddenly a "hide" button will appear.
Janet! I don't know how to "unhide" someone. I haven't tried to do that. I'm sure there is a way, but I don't know how.

OK, I found out how to unhide friends by using the help function.
At the bottom of your home page there is an "edit options" button. Click this and you can unhide your friends. I don't have any I want to unhide at this time, but maybe someday.......

Whenever I do get to FB, I always feel bad that I don't follow you guys on there.
Everybody else, I just get to when I feel like it. I have loved getting in touch with family and old friends there, but it's got way too much stuff going on. The pages are filled with info, and where to go to find people, etc. I don't like that kind of mental stimulation any more. My brain requires quiet, and not having to multitask. Sometimes, not even thinking at all is good, and decision making is ridiculously hard!

Thank you so much Gayle...I don't want to unhide anyone yet either....LOL.
Judy...you are so funny! I really do like FB alot. Quick and easy to catch up. Today it's been really weird on there. Usually I can go back to older posts and there are also a few that I hid that are showing up. FB still has a lot of glitches and you'd think as fast as it has grown...they'd get things fixed.

Sandy,
The fb scam was on the news yesterday! It's huge, all over fb, emails, etc., and a lot of people are falling for it. I am so glad I took that scammer for a bit of a ride, and even gladder that nobody you know got taken. All's well that ends well! The FBI is involved. I think it's about time the government got involved in scams.
