Wow! Isn't Afrikaans spoken in S. Africa? My husband is slightly familiar with it. He is a language major doubling in Spanish and German. The only thing I can say in German is "I have a bellybutton." LOL. I never liked French very much, but Spanish is my minor. Which did you learn first and which do you speak most often at home? (Sorry, language fascinates me...it's one thing that attracted me to my husband.)

Yes, Afrikaans is spoken is S. Africa, i lived there for 14 years. I never liked French classes either, kind of makes me tongue tied. I learnt Dutch, and English while growing up, now to make it really confusing, we speak mostly Flamish at home, my hubby is Belgian, i grew up in Belgium, and whent to school there.

Wow! You've had so many wonderful unique experiences!!! I would give almost anything to have that kind of life, filled with so much travel and experience. lol. I've never been out of the States before, but I'm going to Mexico this summer so that will be fun! My husband said to tell you that he envies your language abilities. If he could, he would learn every language possible. lol. We once tried to learn "Ladino" which is like Yiddish (a mixture of German and Hebrew) except it is with Spanish and Hebrew. It's a dying language and only about 200 people in the world still speak it.

But wow, I'm super impressed with how much you know and how many places you've lived!

You coming to Holland soon, i'll teach you Dutch LOL
Yes, i have been Blessed by seeing and living in a lot of different places, it shows/teaches a person a lot of different cultures etc. I lived in most parts of S.Africa. We are just waiting for our son to finish school, i would love to move to Spain, so maybe who knows right?
You are SO lucky to be going to Mexico, that country is on my list to visit. BUT i first need to visit the states and SEE my friends!

Wow, I am definitely going to have to visit you someday girl, whether it's in Holland or Spain. I'd love to see either country!! My hubby and I want to take a trip across Europe after college and before kids so we will be close. Spain is definitely on our need to visit list, too. So much history and beautiful architecture! It would be a beautiful place to live. I really hope that works out for you.

I think you are the lucky one! Mexico will be the first foreign country I've ever visited and you've probably been to at least 10. lol

I have to say, i like your way of thinking. Seeing parts of the world, before having kids!
I always tell young people to see some of the world before settling down with a man or woman, or go together before having kids.

Just let me know when you ready to see Europe

Mandy changed her location to "Who cares!". I think she's afraid others will try to come visit and her house will be overflowing with us ladies from 4WT. She's trying to hide.

I will definitely let you know! It may be next summer depending on finances. That's a long way away though and so it's hard to tell. We definitely want to travel though, it's something we are both really excited about. Since I speak English and Spanish and Brendon speaks English, Spanish, and German, we will be able to communicate with someone pretty much everywhere we go, especially since so many people in Europe are bilingual.

As a side note, what happened to our quote tags?? lol. I fixed it, but I didn't notice until just now. It kept quoting you as me and me as you. Oh well...
