Royal Wedding
Is anyone else waking up early to watch? I will be up at 4:00 am this Friday I love anything royal, so there's no question lol!
Does anyone else even care? I read all the news stories and then see hundreds of comments from people who are so sick of the royal family blah blah blah so maybe I'm in the minority here

I think it's interesting. I won't make any special arrangements to watch it, but if I see it on I won't turn it off, lol! I hope they have a wonderful life together.

Lol, I will watch as much as I can before I have to go to work The two of them are doing their first official trip as a royal couple to Canada this summer. They won't be coming to my province though. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were here in my city 2005, but I was working and couldn't go see them!

I would love to be able to watch it but will be at work. I remember Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding, I think it's every little girls fantasy to have a wedding like that. Beautiful!!

I won't be waking up to watch it. I find it all fascinating, but I'll need my sleep to drive the munchkins to school.

I won't be getting up early to watch it but I'll probably watch the later reruns!! I've been watching some movies and stuff about the couple and wedding. They seem like a good couple together and I wish them the best. It has to be so hard to live under so much public scrutiny.

I agree it must be so hard! Although it is really nice that he is able to marry who he chooses to marry... if Charles was able to do that, he probably would have ended up with Camilla at the start, instead of being forced to marry Diana, and she probably wouldn't have had such a tragic death... although maybe she wouldn't have had the ability to do so much charity work either.
Did you know that Kate will be the first commoner queen-to-be in over 350 years? She has no royal background at all, no ties to the royal family.

I won't be getting up to early to watch it either but I will definitely watch throughout the day. It is very interesting! I also remember Charles and Diana's wedding. And I agree with you Lynsey...Charles would have no doubt been with Camilla if he had had a choice.

I think I might get up to watch. What time is the actual ceremony? I too, remember Diana and Charles' wedding. It was a fairy tale!

OK, is 10:20AM in London, 4:20AM here? I'm just trying to figure out if I really have to get up at 4:00 or if I can wait till 5;00.

I am on Central Standard Time and we are 7 hours behind London... so 4:00 here will be 11:00 there, when the marriage service begins.

You and me both So when they all appear on the balcony at 1:30, that should be 6:30... just enough time for me to shower, get ready for work and leave the house at 7:15!

Gayle, Lindsey is on "standard time" and we are on "daylight savings time" so you should have an hour difference somewhere. My poor brain can't figure it out so I'll leave that to you!!!
