Weather change
WOW! It's cold this morning. 46 with a 20 mph wind - pretty different from the past few days in the high 80's, low 90's. I didn't think that it would get this cold again till next fall/winter! It's OK though, but now I've got to find that wind breaker that I packed away somewhere!
But the weather is changeable at any time. My granddad said the most snow he ever saw at one time at our farm in northwest Oklahoma was on May 5th. I looked up a weather archives, and sure enough May 5th, 1944 (or some year, don't remember which year) was like 20 inches.

The weather has been hot, cool, hot, cool this year. I've got a hibiscus that I babied over the winter and it's been out, in, out, in.......right now it's "in" because it's cool today and suppose to get cooler tonight!!
I'm ready for some just nice weather!!!! We have a nice day then it rains and cools off. Trying to get anything done in the yard has been hard!!! |

Same here. Today it was in the low 50's but seems so much cooler and the dampness does't help either. I want the weather to get better too but I'm afraid spring won't last long and then a hot summer will be here soon.

It only got up to 54 today! It was 92 yesterday. What a difference! It's supposed to be 44 tonight - my tomatoes won't like that. LOL!

It is 44 here this morning, but the sun is shining and it is supposed to get up to 72. What a glorious day in Texas.
Unfortunately, today is the anniversary of the massive tornadoes that tore through Oklahoma City and surrounding suburbs - twelve years ago. I was living in Austin and I remember the horror from family and friends who were caught in the middle of it. Simple unbelievable.

It was 71 about 9 this morning. Now it's about 4:30 and down in the 50's and it has rained here all day long. I'm so tired of this weather.

We've had mist part of the day here and in the low 50's. Feels a lot colder. Suppose to rain all weekend. I don't think we'll ever have a spring or summer.......
