Are you happy with your body?
Women always seems to have body issues-- I thought since this is Diet and Heath, that we could talk about what we think of our bodies, diets we have done, and what you'd like to achieve for your body in the future.
I have about 10 pounds to lose to get where I'd feel extremely comfortable. I am in not overweight, but I am a little squishy in the butt thigh area. I gain my weight in my lower half and then it starts to creep up to my love handles and stomach if I let it. I wear a size 6- but right now they are TIGHT 6's vs baggy 6s they should be. I'd love to be a comfortable 4. |

This is gonna be an interesting thread! No matter how perfect another person thinks your body is, everyone has problems with themselves. I have friends who tell me I could model, and other friends who call me "Spaghetti Arms" When I was growing up people called me a monkey because of my long skinny limbs. I've always been a little self-conscious about my arms, but if I try to buff them up at all, they just look like pure muscle, which is a look I don't want on myself, so I settle for the spaghetti.

I agree no one is happy with their bodies. I have gained 8 pds. myself in the last two years. I can't seem to take it off. I am still a sz. 6 but I fill them out a bit..lol Girls it gets harder as you get older to lose it. I need to drink more water but thats the problem I can't..lol I also need to walk, I never get the chance. See I know what I must do...lol It is frustrating...

I don't like it! That pretty much sums it up, LOL.
The mental anquish that I see most women go through about there own body image is horrible. Id really like to see a change with all that. Society doesn't help either with the glamourous expectations it throws at us day after day. Not to mention the seeds it plants in our teens minds. It's a viscious cycle that I hope to see come to an end some day. |

Happy? No...I need to loose some weight and tone up but between work, house stuff, running kids all over the place, I hardly have time to scratch my ass!

I hate my body. When I was younger it was pretty damn good if I do say so myself. I think if I was happier I would've kept it in check, but hey. I'm overweight by about 80-85 lbs, but plan on working on it soon.
In most of the posts we've all mentioned "time", but look at us sitting here on the computer. We all really have time...we just choose not to do it. I need to get off my butt!!! |

i don't like my body-i've had two kids and my stomach will never be flat again, not to mention the stretchmarks. i am satisfied with my body size except for the fact that i look like a toothpick with a gut. i have no boobs and no butt. i have long legs and i can still wear my high school jeans but i have to stuff all the extra skin in them-gross! i just am flabby and out of shape. i have talked my hubby into getting me a boob job but lately i have been thinking about a tummy tuck instead. he says i'm getting my tig-bitties first cuz he's tired of hearing me complain about being so flat-chested...i mean there is nothing there i wear a 34 double aa and i feel about as sexy as a limp french fry and he is always buying me those hooker clothes at the adult store and i refuse to wear them because i feel like a dang 11 year old in them. has any one on this site had cosmetic surgery please tell me the pros and cons of breast augmentation and tummy tucks.....thanks ya'll
