Anyone want a puppy?

Joel is bringing home a puppy named Bear tonight.
A friend of his moved and can't keep it in his rental, so it was "find a home or put him down".
I agreed to take him just long enough to find a new home for him. He's a mongrel, supposedly housetrained, about 4 months old, and Joel has fallen in love with him. I truly don't need another dog, but couldn't let a puppy die for lack of a home. I'll post pics of him asap. Maybe you can help me decide what breeds he's a mix of. LOL

This is my Moses and the new little guy. Someone suggested he might be part beagle... based on the shape of his head. He's 4 months old, 15 lbs versus Moses who is 6 months old and 35 lbs.

So what is he? He's dark red on his upper body, pale red on his underside.

Looks at this link. scroll down to looks at the dogs. His eyes and nose remind me a lot of a chesapeakbay ret.

He's a cutie for sure, Tink! He looks to me to be a Shepard/Beagle mix. I can see a lot of both. It's anyone's guess though. Looks intelligent...given you any signs yet that this is so?

He is a cutie!

He looks just like my BIL's dog that is a shephard/pincher mix.

"Bear" is now Scooby. He didn't know his name, so it was an easy change.
Joel has fallen for the little guy and got hubbies permission to keep him So we're now the proud owners of 2 crazy puppies. LOL

The pups get along well and play like wild animals several times a day. They're good company for each other at least.

So for now, Scooby has a home. This is a turn of events I absolutely did not plan for, but I hope it works out.
