EEK!! I've gained weight!!
Home for a couple weeks and I'm already back to my pre-college weight!!
My college campus is a workout in and of itself, the entire campus is built on a considerably steep hill so you get a good workout just going to class or walking to the mess halls. I could have been eating better but cause I was getting so much exercise I didn't gain any weight, I actually lost some, but now that I'm home I didn't really change anything about how I eat (with the exception of that tub of ice cream I bought the other day ) and I've gained 10 pounds!!! I'm gonna make the gym at school my second home...

I wish I had a gym or a place to work out really close....guess I just need to get started here at home. I do have a treadmill, weightbench and weights and then some smaller hand weights. I just need to stay off the darn computer...it's so addictive...

The computer is certainly no help at controling your weight or helping to keep the house clean!! Like you, Janet, we don't have a gym closeby. The nearest one is 30 miles away!! At least you have a few pieces of equipment at home to help you out. I'm thinking that I would like to get Gazelle to work out on. I have arthritis in my knees and I think that it would be gentle on them.
Lissa, Sorry about your weight gain. Christmas is really bad for all of us (My Mom finally made the fudge and so I've met my downfall for this holiday!!!!). The good news is that you're young and full of energy and a few days at the gym will probably help you to get it under control. Good luck!!!

Diana is right, you're young and really should have quite a bit of energy to help you lose the weight.
I so wish I would have paid more attention when I was younger. You know, I hate to admit this, but the first time (right after I married) that I gained a bunch of weight, I didn't even remember changing sizes! How blind is that? I wish I would have paid more attention. I do pay attention now! I'm not going to gain anymore....but it sure is hard to take it off being in my 50's.
