Piebald Fawn

Some guy took these photos coming home the other day. This is right off County Hwy O in Portage County, just north of Junction City, Wisc. This is a piebald fawn. It was his good fortune that it was young since he was able to get within 10 yards of it. It ran a few yards (Photo 3), he walked up again and took one last broadside photo before it ran into the woods.

That is incredible!!! Some hunter will probably have it on his wall in a year or so.

My sister lives in Portage WI. LOL Small world, huh?

We have a few albino deer around here, but I have seriously never seen a piebald one yet! That's just odd... Looks like it's mama got friendly with the local billy goat! LOL

Thanks for sharing.

Probably rare, but not sure. I don't know much about them either, I just love to watch them.

I've never heard of a piebald fawn. It certainly is very beautiful.
