Valentines Gift Pictures!!!
I'm not big on buying gifts for Valentines, whenever I do give stuff it's usually hand made. This year I'm baking a cake for my significant other, but it's my first time using the dorm's kitchen so it was a bit of an adventure.
His favorite cake is a Chocolate Rum Cake, so I'm making him one, but since I'd never made one before I made a test one this afternoon and this is how it turned out...I almost wish today was valentines so I could just give him this one...  IMG_1178.JPG IMG_1177.JPG IMG_1176.JPG

Wow, that's a different bundt pan than I was thinking of. It looks great!! Your dad likes it, too. I know what you mean about wishing you could just give him this one now that you have it made. Hopefully the one next week will turn out as well!! Love you!!

Your cake looks delicious!!! So, you have to make another one? Whatcha gonna do with the one ya just made?
With the weather being so darn chilly, it's the perfect time to bake right now. I just made some banana bread and the house smells so warm and homey. I ate a huge slice and now I need a nap.  However, I wish I could have a slice of your cake too.
