My First Avatar!!

I learned to make blinking avatars!! It made me happy. lol. I've been meaning to learn for such a long time, but never really had a reason. Then my mom asked me to make her one, so I did. It is much easier than I expected. Tell me what you think! (It was made for Maltese Talk.) If anyone wants me to make you one, it wouldn't be great, but I would love the practice...

I don't mind at all doing them for you ladies. I've had so much fun learning how! Just send me the pics you'd like to have used and I'll do my best.

Sheryl, donating members will be able to have several frames probably. I'll look it up. I think your avatar size can be 125x125, correct? It depends on the KB limit and the amount of color in the frames you want used.

This is one I just finished for my hubby. It is only 15.4 kb and it's 90x90 with 6 frames. I don't know if that will give you an idea of how many frames or not... lol. Maybe I'm just being confusing. Anyway, this one is a computer joke that my hubby begged me to make for him. (It says from xkcd.com because that is where the joke originated.) SUDO is a linux command that basically allows you to change any option or file on a system, even if the computer thinks it's not allowed. Yeah, nerd joke. But I'm proud of myself for making this one, it was much more complicated than the one I made for my mom.

Sorry I ran out of time last night & didn't get a chance to post an explanation of the "had a baby" remark. Chipper is our mom's maltese. After mom had taken him to the groomer, I brought my kids over to her house. My youngest son did not understand the dogs "get haircuts too". So when he saw Chipper without all his fur. He got excited & yelled out "yayyy Chipper had a baby". We had to explain to him Chipper just had a haircut. We didn't get into the fact that Chipper is male & the only dog in the house. We all thought it was quite funny & I thought you ladies might get a laugh out of it as well.

Here are avatars I made for Traci and my Mom. They didn't know I was doing it! It's also an example of what they may look like if you don't have the larger size. Donating members would obviously be a lot bigger. If you have suggestions as to how I could make them better, please tell me! Enjoy. PM me if you want one.

I just wanted to let everyone know that you can have a bigger avatar!! Admin said this in an earlier thread:

Quote:
We now allow bigger avatars for 4WT members with 500 or more posts. The new maximum size will be 75 by 75 pixels for those members with 500 or more posts.

Please PM us after you reach 500 posts and we can update your account for you.
I was able to fit 8 frames on my avatar though I did have to make it 73x73 rather than 75x75. Just pm me or respond here if you want one.
