My back tattoo
I can't get the whole thing - and there are parts you just don't want to see! It goes way further down and across my lower back - not for viewing without a lot of editing!

That's pretty, Judy! Did you find it painful? My back tattoo was very painful for me. I'm getting another on the outside of my thigh, just under my hip after summer is over. I think that one might hurt too!

My stomach tattoo hurt on the stomach side, not the hip side.I got my eyeliner done - upper and lower - now we're talking about pain! I also got lipliner and lip coloring - not as bad. I think the hip and thigh won't be so bad. Poke it with a fork - that's how you can tell. What are you getting? I have some websites with nice tattoos. Waiting for pictures!

I had a friend who had eyeliner done... I always wondered why hers stayed perfect all day! She said it was very very painful, it was the first tattoo she'd ever had done!
My first tattoo I just found on the internet. I changed it a bit, but I still wish I would have done more of the design. I still love it though! I posted this awhile back here... http://4womentalk.com/forums/attachm...9&d=1163953682 The next one I'm getting I just designed on my own. My birthday is 06/06, and my last name has 6 letters, and there are 6 members in my immediate family (I include the 2 dogs!)... So my tattoo is going to be 6 wavy kinda lines, not outlined, in blue and green to look like the northern lights (back in my hometown my friends and I would sit outside at night and just watch them... they were beautiful. I don't get that view from the city!) Then on top of that I've got 6 big 5-pointed stars, and then 6 little twinkly stars. I've never heard of poking it with a fork! I'm scared of it hurting because it's an area that doesn't get touched much and it just feels very sensitive. After my last one, it hurt so bad that I called my mom and said "If I ever say I'm getting another tattoo, please talk me out of it!"

I'd love to have my make-up done permanently, but I could never go through with it. Too much of a baby, lol. Your tattoo is cute Judy!

Your tattoo is very pretty and big...lol I could never do a tattoo, for one thing I don't like pain, the other is I always try to think what they would like in old age. When I was younger and thinner, I used some very good removeable type tattoos. I guess they are called washables or something like that.
Kudos to you brave ones out there!

I'll post pix of the eyeliner and lips asap. The eyeliner is soooo painful, but, all I do when I go out is out on some moisturizer, blush (now that I'm tan), maybe some
eyeshadow and mascara. It's great. I can be dressed and ready to go in 10 minutes. My hair is easy too because I get it blown out once a week for $12.00 plus tips. I don't even have to comb it. I did all of this because I'm lazy and I'm vain. You got to work with who you are! Judy

That sounds gorgeous. I can't wait to see pix. I remember your other one. It's a beauty. I think it's time for everyone to post pix of their tattoos.

I heard on tv recently, someone talking about tatoos and aging... they brought up my biggest concern.
I'd love to get a hummingbird, but with age I'm afraid it would turn into a pterodactyl !
