Narnia

Is anyone else excited about Prince Caspian? Brendon and I and our friends Sarah and Ryan are going to see it tonight. I've been waiting for it to come out for months and I hope the movie isn't disappointing. A few of the previews make me think that they didn't stick too close to the book so we'll see how that turns out.

Any other Narnia fans here?

I'm sorry Angie, but I've never heard of it. We don't go see too many movies. I think the last one we saw was King Kong...so it's been awhile. Hope you have a good time.

I agree. He should have been younger, but my oh my is he hot! It kind of takes away a lot by making him older I think.

Janet, it's a series by C.S. Lewis. VERY good books. You should read them. There are seven total and only about 100 pages each. I finished one in less than two days.

I haven't read the books, but I am a little more than halfway through the last HP.

Please don't tell me anything about it. I want to find out for myself.

I'll try the Narnia series.

Enjoy Angie!

Judy I just finished HP a few months ago. I always told the kids it wasn't something I would be interested in but I loved them.

I think you'd really enjoy the Narnia series as well. It isn't nearly as complicated as HP with all the twists and surprises, but it's still a very good read.

I finally saw the first Narnia movie when it was on Encore. It was really good! I'll probably wait for this to come out on TV too.

I liked the first one a lot. The second was very different from the book, but I guess if you look at it as JUST a movie rather than comparing it to the book, then it was good. For someone who hasn't read the books, I don't know which movie they'd like best.

Books are ALWAYS better than the movie.

This one completely changed a lot of major plot points. It was a little disappointing. It's hard to look at the movie separate from the book and decide if it was good or not. I keep thinking, "but it wasn't right!" lol

That's the truth! But, the Lord of the Ring series of movies were excellent.
I read the book so long ago, I barely remember it.
